Duplicate content kills the Google page ranking of blogs and websites. This has always been a myth over the internet because it is believed that Google will usually penalize the sites with a drop in page rank for using duplicate contents.

Because of this myth, I often write my own blog posts and articles so you hardly see me using contents taken from else where. But I have no control over it if other people scrape my contents and publish them on their sites. The worst thing is that these scrapers claimed that the contents are written by them!

Ironically, these scraper sites usually get indexed by the search engines first before the site of the original content. Ridiculous, huh? I still cannot find an explanation from the search engines regarding this content-scraping issue.

Anyway, I have received emails from two of the successful internet marketers by the names of Jonathan Leger and Pawel Reszka saying that they have found the keys to unlock this duplicate-content myth.

Jonathan Leger has proven in his ShareAPost.com site that duplicate content ranks well. His site is made up of 100% duplicate content, ie. snippets of other people’s blog posts that users can republish on their own blogs.

Jonathan Leger said that syndication has been a standard in offline and online publishing for many years. He doesn’t see any reason as to why Google should ignore content just because it’s been syndicated. Furthermore, he has gathered some data to prove that Google does not ignore it at all!

Next, Pawel Reszka has come out with a pre-launch free ebook to explain how he has found the secret to unlock the myth of using duplicate content. I read through his report and have to admit that Pawel Reszka really have some brilliant ideas. I would expect his newly launched Google Manipulator to provide lots of solid tactics to deal with the use of duplicate content for escaping the big Google slap.

Have you ever thought of becoming a millionaire? Yes, you did. Am I right? I believe this millionaire dream would pop into your head once in a while. All of us hope to become rich if not super rich so that we could quit the day job and retire early. How nice?! Now, the question is how to become a millionaire. It would be easy if you have a rich father, if you have married a rich man or woman, if you have inherited a big sum of money from your grandparents, if you have divorced your tycoon husband, if you have lots of luck to strike the lottery and so on.

However, the fact is that majority of the people don’t fall into any of the above categories. Come on, let us face the reality. Not everybody is so lucky and born with a golden-spoon in the mouth. If you were that lucky then I must congratulate you because you don’t have to do anything in order to become rich.

What would you do if you are not pre-destined to be rich like the above categories of people? Do you start blaming on your poor fate for what you are today, blaming on your parents for not being rich, blaming on your spouse for earning miserably each month or blaming on your poor luck for not striking the lottery?

Is it possible to become a millionaire without depending on others? Could you create your own wealth? If your answer is a “yes”, then how to go about doing it? You have to start asking yourself what you can do to make yourself a millionaire. If you don’t have a clue, probably you should start to search around and model after some successful people who have already self-created their own wealth. Their wealth-creation process is something that you should learn from in order to step on the route of wealth for yourself.

Some of these wealthy people earned their first million dollars at a very young age. They are the self-made millionaires under the age of 30. Wow! Can you imagine that? In most people’s mind, millionaires are usually senior people who are in their 50s to 70s. Yet the millionaires nowadays are getting younger and younger. It is hard to believe, right? The fact is that there are a lot of young millionaires around! I’ll show you a good example in my next post.

I have come across an affiliate marketing video featuring Ewen Chia was being interviewed in the World Internet Summit Internet Marketing Seminar held in Melbourne, Australia, in 2007. Although the video was recorded one year ago, I find that the affiliate marketing topics covered by Ewen Chia are still fresh and relevant to today’s affiliate marketing world. Ewen Chia’s affiliate marketing tips, tricks and advices are never out-dated.

One thing I want to highlight about the video is that it was not very well-taken as the resolution was very bad. The vision was quite blurred and you can hardly see Ewen Chia’s face clearly. Anyway, you are still able to recognize Ewen Chia’s voice and facial expression straight away. Honestly speaking, I always find that Ewen Chia has a comical look which makes me feel wanting to laugh whenever I see him talking. It’s just kind of funny for me to have this perception about Ewen Chia . Maybe, Ewen Chia can choose to become a comedian if he thinks that he has earned enough money and sick of being a Super Affiliate Marketing Guru. Arghh, I must make it clear that this is just my personal view and I’m not in any way trying to be offensive. Sorry if I did.

OK, in this 3-minute short video, the interviewer had posted a very important question that most people who are new to internet marketing and affiliate marketing may face. If these problems are not handled well, most of the new internet marketers and affiliate marketers might get frustrated and discouraged. Eventually, they might stop pursuing their internet marketing and affiliate marketing dreams. Then, they might abandon their online businesses completely.

Today is April Fool’s Day and I wish you have a very happy day today. Don’t worry, I won’t be making a fool out of you today although I have been reading a few blog posts and the authors were apparently trying to play pranks on the readers by announcing some shocking news on blog acquisition. Anyway, we should be in the mood to celebrate April Fool’s Day rather than taking things too seriously. Just to have some fun after a hard day’s work!

How did April Fool’s Day come about then? I had just made a search and found the definition from Wikipedia. Here it goes :

So, this is the definition of April Fool’s Day. We should not get angry with our friends, families or colleagues if they were to make practical jokes on us. Also, we should stay alert and prepare for being the target on April Fool’s Day.

However, there was such a heart-breaking April Fool’s Day happening 5 years ago and I’m not going to forget about it forever. It was a sad news and I came to know that one of my most favorite artistes had chosen to end his life on the April Fool’s Day. I used to listen to his songs when I was a student and his songs accompanied me whenever I feel lonely.

How I wish the shocking news that I had received by watching the TV news 5 years ago was indeed an April Fool’s hoax. However, it turned out to be a fact. Too bad and so sad. The shocking news was that the super pop-star, Leslie Cheung from Hong Kong, had jumped to his death from 24th storey of the Mandarin hotel. Leslie was a talented artiste who got a pretty face. He can sing, dance and act well. Nobody knows the reason as to why he had to commit suicide by jumping down from a tall building.

Some of the people only knew that Leslie Cheung was in deep depression at that moment and also he had had some kind of sickness. It seemed like nobody was able to attend to his needs and helps when he was in trouble. Probably he was disappointed with the reality and life. Maybe this is the reason why Leslie Cheung had sarcastically chosen April Fool’s Day to take action and to call it a day forever. What a sad and disheartening April Fool’s Day in 2003. Today is Leslie Cheung’s 5th death anniversary and we shall remember Leslie forever.
